This week I did my first Pecha Kucha on cybernetics and was pretty surprised at how tough it was compared to typical presentations. Coming into the presentation I expected a normal presentation that I could excel at and get done with little problem. The Pecha Kucha was a unique timing challenge that forced me to be concise and give information quickly. I actually over prepared for the presentation and had too much information to get through. I had timed myself going through the presentation before and I was too fast. For the next Pecha Kucha’s that I am doing, I will focus more on explaining the pictures and being conversational than cramming information!
